My little child brings me joy,
his flight through life and all of its strife..
May God keep him meek and mild..
And never grow like a lion-wild..
For I see a bright future ahead,
if only he'll wisely use his head..
Not only live his life unafraid..
But who'll abide the teachings of thy
Daily Bread...
