My little Jeff..

My little child brings me joy,
his flight through life and all of its strife..
May God keep him meek and mild..
And never grow like a lion-wild..
For I see a bright future ahead,
if only he'll wisely use his head..
Not only live his life unafraid..
But who'll abide the teachings of thy
Daily Bread...

Metamorphosis...

Like a tiny cocoon hanging on a twiggy branch of a tree,

ugly as it may seem,

promises an eclectic scenery..

A beautiful creature truly captivating,.

A butterfly with brilliant colors saliently soaring,

Beyond meadows and valleys..

Just when I thought, I'll always stay a cocoon,

left undissipated, undistorted by the wide-eyed raccoon.

The days, months, years went by..I became a butterfly.

Truly, I was a work of the process called METAMORPHOSIS..

Be like the bamboo tree...

Standing tall and proud,
soaring high skies..
the clouds applaud..
As the wind blew, it begins to groove.
With every sweep, with every blow.
Prances away life, goes rickety-rickety..
Be pliant like the bamboo tree..
Strong, flexible, dances with wind.. Don't take your life seriously!

From my daughter Nicole...p

My Goals for Mama
Mom, my first goal for you is to be healthy throughout your adulthood.
My second goal for you is to be safe in everything you do and everywhere you go.
My third goal for you is to exercise so you can stop asking me questions like who's fatter, me or that other lady?
My fourth goal for you is to work hard in everything that you do.
My fifth goal for you is to be a nice, fab, and cool mom.
My sixth goal for you is to love and care for us.
My seventh goal for you is that you gotta stop stressing and relax.
My last goal for you, at the moment, is to SAVE MONEY so we can go on vacations and other fun things. ;)
that's it for now........... d*_*b

Life's Simple Pleasures

Morning promises new beginnings, new hope, new day to look forward to, of every little piece of living creature. I welcomed my Tuesday with a smile, a few stretches and lounges, a prayer, a latte and sausage and egg biscuit. I needed to be fueled to keep my motor running. I chuckled.
As I get my sprayer and rag to wipe off some food scraps, I came across a tray with feasting birds. Such a delight to see, fighting over crumbs and one got its feet stucked on the last dollop of whipped cream. I presumed must be a waffle with maple syrup and strawberries. The palms are still, sun peeking brightly on Maui skies. The pool crystal clear, light sea breeze brushed my cheeks, typical tropical morning chill. Tempting me to go for a walk along the shore and just watch the canoe guys paddle to sea.
In the noisy confusion of life, people becoming impatient, everything INSTANT service such a survival of the fittest. I often stop and wonder, where has time led our feet? It's just hard to catch up now. But I should think that the grass in the meadows are still green, the sky is still blue, the ocean vast. While working, I took the pleasure of smelling the aroma of the grounded coffee beans, watch the wand emit off steam and milk frothing. Observing people from all walks of life. Truly, Maui is a melting pot of different cultures.
I look up the sky, glanced on the landscape. I have a good view from my workplace. Who says, you cannot fathom life's simple pleasures, simple luxuries without going overboard or going extremes or even while at work. I feel guilty sometimes not realizing the beauty of life. I have to go out and explore my world, get out of my shell. There's a promising tomorrow with endless possibilities. Make myself anew and sum up my most prized life lessons and a-ha moments!

What a MOTHER is...

A mother's love is unconditinal, her touch is like silk, her beauty is unfading.. Her lullabies are soothing to a child, she is the jack-of-all-trade... A mother holds you in times of trouble, who drinks that latte fast to start her day. Help straighten the wrinkles of life, pliant as a bamboo tree. A mother is truly amazing..
